AMERICAN JOURNALISM REVIEW

AJR College Competition 2014

The new, all-digital American Journalism Review seeks proposals for student journalism projects about the news media, with winning entries to be published at AJR.org.

Any college educator who teaches journalism and/or communications courses is eligible to enter.

We are looking for ideas for class projects that involve smart, in-depth, team coverage of any aspect of the news media. Special attention will be paid to projects that focus on digital innovation and entrepreneurship in the news media. Data visualizations, investigative stories, survey projects, web applications — all ideas are welcome.

Please fill out the form below by June 15, 2014 to enter.

A grand prize of $500 will be awarded to the instructor who submits the best project proposal. In addition, the instructor will partner with AJR to publish the student work on AJR.org.
